PEFC™ Certified WISA Spruce Special Grade Osmose AC500 Softwood Plywood CE2+

PEFC™ WISA Treated Spruce Plywood Osmose AC500 G/III is protected against the effects of wood destroying organisms. Made from spruce veneers throughout, it is normally bonded together with a phenol formaldehyde adhesive, which has superior resistance to loss of bond strength with time. This variant has been pressure impregnated with Osmose AC500 preservative to provide long term protection against the effects of rot, mould growth, fungal decay and insects.

WISA Treated Spruce is Grade G on the face side with a Grade III on the reverse.

Grade G – A premium WISA-Spruce grade (improved standard Grade II). Solid surface with no open defects.

Grade III - A grade which may have open splits and knot holes. Grade III offers the full technical strength of spruce plywood and it is recommended for use in applications where surface appearance is not of primary importance.

PEFC WISA Treated Spruce Plywood Osmose AC500 G/III CE2+ is manufactured untreated in factories for which Factory Production Control certificate has been issued by a body recognised by European Commission.

The Osmose AC500 treatment is applied in the UK by contractors approved by the Wood Protection Association.
